Payment solutions at the core of Wike’s business

Payment solutions at the core of Wike’s business

Wike Oy, also known as Karjaan Kassa ja PC, is a long-standing importer of Quorion-branded cash registers and POS systems. Originally founded in 1983 as Toiminimi Wike Agentur, the company has been providing payment solutions ever since. Later, it was renamed Oy Wike Ab Agentur. Karjaan Kassa & PC has been the company’s auxiliary business name since 2004. Wike Oy has been supplying POS solutions to customers since 2000. The company provides integrated payment terminals, standalone terminals, and acquiring agreements, ensuring that all payment-related services are available under one roof.

The partnership with Seitatech began in 2019 when Wike required a fast and flexible payment terminal integration for its Quorion POS system. According to Wike’s founder and CEO, Kenneth Wikgren, Seitatech was the clear choice due to its speed and agility. Seitatech supplies Wike with both integrated and standalone payment terminals, which Wike resells as tailored solutions to its customers.

Fast response time is essential

Wike highlights Seitatech’s agility and strong accessibility as key advantages of the partnership. Issues are resolved quickly, and direct access to an expert is always available without unnecessary delays. This is particularly crucial for small businesses, where ensuring that payments are processed as quickly as possible is vital for business continuity.
Working with Seitatech has streamlined Wike’s operations, making overall management more efficient. Wike can quickly provide customers with all the necessary payment services, and with Seitatech’s payment terminal management tools, the reseller has real-time visibility into device inventory and customer accounts.

Additionally, Seitatech’s payment terminals allow multiple acquiring banks to be used, giving resellers greater flexibility in meeting customer needs. This enhances adaptability for different customer segments and broadens business opportunities, as resellers are not restricted to working with a single acquirer.

Advanced payment terminal features

Wikgren particularly emphasizes Seitatech’s multi-user functionality, which allows multiple business owners to share a payment terminal while using separate acquiring agreements.

This is especially beneficial for hair salons, where each independent entrepreneur can process payments to their own account while sharing the same payment terminal, eliminating the need for individual devices.

Ongoing and expanding collaboration between Wike and Seitatech

Wikgren expects the partnership with Seitatech to continue smoothly in the future. Discussions have already begun on expanding the collaboration, including the development of a mobile POS integration for Seitatech’s Android-based payment terminal. This would open up new opportunities for both Wike and its customers, providing even more versatile and flexible payment solutions.
