Smooth Festival Payments with BankAxept and Inzzii POS
Seitatech payment terminals now accept BankAxept, Norway’s domestic card payment scheme, alongside Visa and Mastercard. The solution was successfully piloted at Drøbak Havnefestival, where Seitatech’s terminals worked together with its partner’s Inzzii POS system.
BankAxept accounted for approximately 65.8% of purchase transactions at the festival. Total sales reached approximately NOK 2.46 million across all payment methods. Nearly two out of every three purchases were made using BankAxept, demonstrating its importance to the festival’s customers.
Smooth Payments in a Demanding Festival Environment
For Drøbak Havnefestival, smooth payments were essential to keeping sales moving during busy periods. With multiple sales locations and different product ranges, the payment terminals and POS system needed to work seamlessly together under pressure.
Festival Director Terje Evensen describes this as “absolutely crucial” to the festival’s operations. The successful pilot and his positive feedback demonstrated how the combined solution met these practical needs.
The Inzzii POS system was adapted to each location’s product range, while Seitatech’s user-friendly terminals enabled acceptance of both international cards and BankAxept.
“The Inzzii system was easily adapted to the specific product ranges at our different sales locations, which made the logistics at the festival much easier to handle in practice,” says Evensen.
