Nina Lehtonen, a Business College graduate, is completing her vocational skills in Helsinki Business College financial management studies. As a part of the studies she is working as an intern at Seitatech. The internship includes assignments in accounting, purchase and sales ledger, and payroll.
Getting to know the company’s operating methods and services has played an important role at the beginning of the internship; for example, the internally used systems and the financial management software have become familiar. After getting acquainted with the practices of the house, Nina has been able to take on the financial management work for which she has already found comprehensive theoretical knowledge through her studies.
“I have been able to do a variety of jobs that are important to completing my degree. I have learned a lot and my work mentor has been very encouraging”, says Nina.
“From day one I felt very welcome. The office has a nice atmosphere and it feels like I’ve been working here for a long time even though I’ve only had a month of internship”, she continues.
After graduating, Nina has plans to work in financial administration, as well as further training in business studies.
Internship at Seitatech
Seita Technologies offers internship opportunities for vocational school and university of applied sciences students. Internships will open according to ongoing projects, for a variety of different tasks, and throughout the year. Most internships are available for graduates in financial management or programming.
